Rap mogul dedicates track to popular fashion designer on new album

SONG OF PRAISE: Tom Ford and Jay-Z
FASHION DESIGNER Tom Ford says that he is flattered by Jay-Z?s decision to name a song after him on his new album.
The former head designer at fashion house Gucci, often credited with increasing sales at the luxurious brand, said: "I am completely flattered. I mean, come on, who would not want a Jay-Z song named after them??
The 43-year-old rap mogul released his 12th studio album Magna Carta Holy Grail to critical acclaim last week (July 4).
In the track Tom Ford, he raps: ?I don?t pop molly I rock Tom Ford?, which, while taking at pop at fellow rapper Rick Ross who was criticised for glamorising the drug ?molly? in a recent song, endorses Ford?s brand.
The hip-hop world is famous for name-dropping designers in lyrics. Kanye West is commonly referred to as the ?Louis Vuitton Don? for his constant promotion of the designer brand.
